Cherry picking will always get you the result you intended in the first place. Face it, whether you like Obama or not, the economy was in a historic tail spin when he came in, it turned around and has been on a steady rise for years now. That pace has picked up more in some areas in Trump's first year. There you go, the plain and simple truth minus the ideological spin.

8:26 actually the housing market not the economy was in a tailspin. BO didn't save the day most of the measures had been put in place or agreed upon before BO took office. Economic growth during his time stayed below 3%. Now there is some plain and simple truth.

I seem to recall 1) stock market, 2) job number, 3) wages, 4) consumer confidence, 5) personal savings, and more all tanking. 1:37 What are you talking about? I was stating that economic growth under BO stunk. Less then 3% per year growth is crap. The reason the economy tanked was because of the housing bubble collapsing because of subprime loans. Corrections were put in place while Bush (almost as bad a President as his father and Carter and BO) was still President. Economic growth has not been on a steady rise since BO. BO doubled down on the corrections and just like Roosevelt during the real great depression prolonged the suffering for twice as long as necessary. The reason growth is taking off now if because of the removal of those BO policies that have been depressing growth for the last previous 6 years. The 5 things you site in your comment are all on BO and the Democrats and their socialists/communist/social justice policies.
And let us not forget which party was responsible for the housing bubble people. I do not have to explain for those who care to know, they already know.
Barney Franks and the Dems (with the Republicans as willing dupes) were responsible for the housing bubble. Pushing financial institutions to relax long time lending rules and the banks relaxed the rules knowing that the Fed would bail them out of any losses.
